As you are aware all of the news and information found in former printed editions of Eagle Eyes have been shifted entirely online.

The latest edition (Summer 2012) can be downloaded by visiting this link.

Our final printed version of this publication was in the Fall of 2008.  This new initiative is in keeping with Eagle Rock’s objective of being an environmental leader, in recognition that more people are getting their news and information online than ever before, and in light of the need to be cost efficient.  We welcome and appreciate any comments or suggestions you might have.  Please email us at newsletter@eaglerockschool.org.

Kindly forward this widely to those who would be interested in the information.

Tragedy in Colorado

To the greater Eagle Rock family and friends:  We were shocked and saddened to learn of the shooting in Aurora, Colorado, last night. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims of this senseless act of violence.

All current Eagle Rock students and are accounted for and are safe. Aurora is seventy miles away from Estes Park. Our best knowledge at this time (5:30 a.m. MDST) is that no-one associated with Eagle Rock was in the theater. Information about the victims (14 confirmed killed, at least 50 wounded) will emerge as the day goes on.

We know that a 24 year old male suspect was apprehended immediately after the shooting and is in police custody.

We will meet with students early this morning to address this situation.

To repeat, all Eagle Rock students are safe. As any relevant information emerges we will pass it on.
